Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Test Engineer to join our team at Sanmina Corporation. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for developing and supporting software and hardware solutions using ICT test systems, Keysight 3070, Teradyne, and others.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and support software and hardware solutions for functional testers.
  • Conduct statistical analysis and improve the testing process.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects efficiently.
  • Experience with database management and project management.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence others within the organization to accept new concepts, practices, and approaches.
  • Self-Starter with excellent problem-solving skills, analytical mindset, and the ability to prioritize complex tasks.
  • Works with manufacturing and engineering teams to ensure that product launches, and product quality standards are maintained.
  • Ability to design and take ownership of test stations including interpretation of electrical schematics, understanding of instrumentation specifications and write testing software code.
  • Deep hands-on technical expertise, excellent verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, problem-solving skills, and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and maintain professional demeanor while working under pressure.
  • Ability to effectively anticipate needs and proactively make arrangements, provide information, and contact sources to gather information.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in the manufacturing industry in this or similar role.
  • Advanced English Language.
  • Strong electronics knowledge and analysis tools.
  • Strong experience with measuring and instrumentation, RF instrumentation knowledge is a plus.
  • Testst and and labview and other software development tools desirable.
  • Strong statistical analysis tools expertise, Minitab preferred.
  • Total productive maintenance.
  • MSA and CPK tools.
  • Core tools certification desirable.
  • IATF 16949 knowledge.
  • Code of conduct of the responsible business alliance and quality.
  • Competency of 6-sigma or equivalent statistical, problem-solving methodology.
  • 6 Sigma tools.
