Job Title: Supply Chain Performance Director

Schneider Electric is seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Performance Director to lead our MTS/MTO operations in Mexico. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for optimizing physical and information flows, surface, lead time, direct labor, and equipment efficiency through leading and coaching lean diagnoses of the end-to-end supply chain.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Challenge performance across all SC domains, identifying and quantifying potential stakes existing on global performance.
  • Lead/support layout design, plan for material storage facility, and implement industry best practices like Visual management, WMS, KANBAN, etc.
  • Support safety, CS&Q, SC deployment, HR, and collaborate to create a shared improvement roadmap with Plants/DCs to achieve targets.
  • Participate in decision-making processes for all investments, new product introduction, capacity, kaizen, etc.
  • Challenge and support entities to co-deliver targets, such as DLP, lead-time, organizational efficiency, internal process capacity, and on-time delivery.
Deliver Innovative Breakthroughs:
  • Precisely capture needs and participate in the search for solutions.
  • Lead proof of concept projects before proceeding to validation for deployment.
  • Anticipate new technologies and methodologies and their associated skill requirements.
Standardize and Deploy for Exemplary Results:
  • Support the animation of the SPS at entity level to become part of their DNA.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the SPS.
  • Design, evolve, deploy, and manage standards, methodologies, and tools, exploiting the good2Great process through leveraging the network of Subject Matter Experts (SMEs).
Train & Coach for Sustainability:
  • Manage the competency referential for Operations Management, Methods & Maintenance & Supply Chain Performance functions.
  • Co-assess current competencies vs referential to identify gaps and support local action plan creation.
  • Transfer necessary skills through "training whilst doing" to grow and sustain competencies.
  • Deliver a constant flow of talent, being the principle contributor to the potential key position holder pool; detect, attract, develop, and prepare talent for the future through robust 3E management.
Qualifications:
  • Possess a Bachelor's degree/equivalent in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or similar discipline.
  • Possess greater than 7 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Possess excellent communication, presentation, analytical, and influence and convince skills.
  • Familiarity with industry-standard equipment and technical expertise.
  • Strong working knowledge of safety, quality, productivity, demand creation, inventory, and lean manufacturing.
  • Minimum 2 years focused on lean manufacturing, certified Lean Expert, experience leading SPS assessments is preferred.
  • Advanced English.
