Job Summary:
The Quality Assurance Project Manager will be responsible for leading and executing complex projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements throughout the work transfer process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement quality assurance strategies, policies, and procedures for work transfer projects.
- Coordinate and manage all quality aspects of work transfer projects, monitoring project timelines and deliverables to ensure on-time completion from a quality perspective.
- Establish quality control measures to monitor and evaluate project performance, identifying areas for improvement and corrective action.
- Continuously evaluate work transfer processes to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including operations, engineering, supply chain, and quality assurance, to facilitate smooth work transfers from a quality standpoint.
- Provide training and support to team members involved in work transfer activities, ensuring a thorough understanding of quality standards, processes, and expectations.
Requirements:
- Two years in a similar position preferred.
- Experience in introducing new products.
- Technical knowledge of painting and welding.
- Experience managing people.
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical, industrial engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to lead and execute complex projects from initiation to completion.
- Excellent knowledge of quality assurance principles, methodologies, and tools (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, ISO standards).
What We Offer:
A competitive salary of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
This is a full-time, permanent position with a regular working schedule from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
