Job Overview

Sephora is seeking an experienced Demand Planner to join our team. As a Demand Planner, you will be responsible for managing inventory levels and creating accurate demand forecasts to guide inventory management and production planning. You will collaborate with various departments to ensure alignment on demand strategies and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Responsible for inventory management of categories, including forecasting and buying responsibilities, ensuring in-stock rates to maximize revenue while hitting turn targets.
  2. Monitor inventory levels and adjust forecasts as needed to prevent stockouts or overstock situations, optimizing inventory turnover and minimizing costs while meeting customer demand.
  3. Oversee SKU level exit strategies and markdowns as well as identify items to maximize promotional and marketing strategies.
  4. Partner with channel heads to continuously understand inventory needs, requests, opportunities, and risks within their business.
  5. Analyze historical sales data, market trends, and customer insights to create accurate demand forecasts that guide inventory management and production planning.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:
  1. 2 to 3 years retail demand planning experience.
  2. Proficiency with MS Office, with advanced Excel skills.
  3. Good negotiation skills; strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  4. Attention to detail.
  5. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  6. Advanced English level.
