Job Title: Inventory Control Superintendent

At Siemens Mobility, we are seeking a highly skilled Inventory Control Superintendent to join our team. This role is responsible for overseeing and optimizing inventory management processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in cycle counts, flow mapping, and transactions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervision of Cycle Counts: Plan and coordinate inventory cycle counts, analyze results, and adjust processes to improve accuracy. Train staff in counting techniques and use of digital tools.
  • Flow Mapping: Document and analyze inventory flows within the organization, identify areas for improvement, and propose solutions to optimize flows. Collaborate with other departments to ensure integration of processes.
  • Transaction Optimization: Review and improve inventory transaction processes, implement controls to minimize errors and losses, and monitor transaction performance.
  • Digital Tools Implementation in SAP: Evaluate and select digital tools for inventory management in SAP, lead the implementation, and ensure integration with existing processes. Train staff in the use of new tools and provide ongoing support.
Requirements:
  • University degree in Logistics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in inventory management, preferably in a SAP environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of cycle counting processes, flow mapping, and transaction optimization.
  • Advanced skills in the use of SAP and digital inventory management tools.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
