As a key member of our Engineering Department, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing manufacturing systems that meet quality and capacity requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain manufacturing systems that meet customer requirements, ensuring high-quality products and efficient production processes.
- Collaborate with the Engineering Manager, Production Manager, and Engineers to generate and track new business opportunities, propose improvements to products and processes, and develop continuous improvement strategies.
- Design and manufacture production support tools to improve process ergonomics and reduce downtime, and test and evaluate prototypes of new models.
- Submit and implement Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) and Product Change Notifications (PCNs), and develop staff through training and administration.
- Analyze and fix process flaws, investigate customer complaints, and submit corrective and preventive actions to prevent recurrence.
- Develop PCNs when deviations are necessary, and perform other activities assigned by the immediate supervisor.
- Bachelor's or university degree in Engineering.
- English fluency (90%).
- Experience in engineering change management, knowledge of computer packages for solving management problems, and AutoCAD.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing techniques, basic knowledge of Six Sigma methodology, and core tools (PPAP, PFMEA, Control Plan, MSA).
- Knowledge of balancing lines, standard work, and material flows.
