Regional Manager Venue Logistics Job Description

The Regional Manager Venue Logistics will be a key member of the FIFA26 Logistics team, working in close collaboration with FIFA Zurich key collaborators and other key individuals responsible for delivering venue logistics operations within a number of stadiums and venues. The main responsibilities of this role include acting as the primary Venue Logistics Operations point of contact for the assigned group of Regional Venues, liaising with internal FIFA functions and external stakeholders to deliver a safe, sustainable, cost-effective, and operationally viable logistics solution, and leading on the overall planning, implementation, operations, and dissolution process across all Logistics activities for the assigned group of Regional Venues.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary Venue Logistics Operations point of contact for the assigned group of Regional Venues.
  • Liaise with internal FIFA functions and external stakeholders to deliver a safe, sustainable, cost-effective, and operationally viable logistics solution.
  • Lead on the overall planning, implementation, operations, and dissolution process across all Logistics activities for the assigned group of Regional Venues.
  • Build strong relationships with internal FIFA functions, external stakeholders, and FIFA Client Groups to capture and assess their requirements, and to develop efficient plans and processes for the receipt, storage, distribution, re-supply, and dissolution of their goods.
  • Proactively participate in venue operational planning and resource scoping sessions to obtain requirements and in-turn communicate the logistics strategy and service levels.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop and implement the integrated venue delivery timeline ensuring a 'single source of truth' across all venue operations.
  • Develop and build the logistics load in/out plans by cost-effectively utilizing staff and procured/existing furniture/equipment collaborating with the Logistics Service Provider, Logistics work streams, partners, and stakeholders to deliver an integrated supply chain for the assigned group of Regional Venues.
  • In collaboration with Venue Management, Technology, and Overlay, support in the delivery of logistics compounds and venue storage facilities to enable a safe, efficient flow of goods within the venues.
  • Support in the recruitment of venue logistics staff with a view to building and managing an effective team to deliver venue logistics for the assigned group of Regional Venues.
  • Provide leadership and management to the assigned Regional Logistics venue team including overseeing health and well-being, effective motivation, setting project goals, coordinating work assignments, and evaluating performance.
  • Maintain strong communication across teams providing content to all stakeholders on the venue logistics operating plans, departmental policies/procedures, delivery guides, and access requirements.
  • In collaboration with the relevant stakeholders, develop appropriate methods of delivery and collection on venues including development of delivery windows and the Master Deliver Schedule (MDS).
  • Manage the coordination and implementation of the logistics operational plans, policies, and procedures across load-in/out, re-supply, and dissolution phases.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to maintain the agreed Logistics service levels at all FWC2026 venues.
  • Manage the receipt, storage, distribution, re-supply, and recovery of FIFA logistics assets and equipment at the venues during bump-in/out and tournament time.
  • Record and monitor logistics risks and issues across the assigned Regional Venues, implementing corrective action as required and escalating where appropriate.
  • Manage the allocation of Logistics resources (staffing and equipment) across the assigned Regional Venues.
  • Provide leadership, training, and continued oversight/monitoring of deployed staff, ensuring the highest possible workplace health and safety protocols.
  • Maintain daily/weekly logistics situational reporting.

Requirements:

  • Fluent in Spanish and English.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience within Major Event Logistics, planning, and delivery phases.
  • Team player with a strong customer-service focus, comfortable in both upward/downward communication and a desire to go the extra mile.
  • Ability to present and clearly communicate to audiences in a multitude of public/private settings as required.
  • Proven track record in managing complex projects, multi-tasking, and prioritization of tasks and deliverables.
  • Willing to work to complex, tight, immovable timelines while maintaining a positive attitude, exhibiting patience, persistence, and experience working in a multi-cultural, multi-national environment.
  • Excellent analytical skills, ability to make decisions both independently and within a team environment.
