**Job Summary**

The Program Management Manager is responsible for providing full leadership and supervisory responsibility to a team of professionals. This role requires strong communication and diplomacy skills, as well as the ability to apply in-depth disciplinary knowledge to provide value-added perspectives or advisory services.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Supports planning, directing, and coordination of day-to-day activities of running a program or portfolio of programs.
  • Ensures change control is executed throughout the program.
  • Ensures appropriate program staffing levels.
  • Ensures creation of program plan and charter benefits management plan, stakeholder management plan, acceptance plan, and central program issue log.
  • Ensures resources are assigned to the program and monitors change control is executed throughout the program.
  • Identifies, documents, and understands program dependencies.
  • Identifies key stakeholders who participate in program scope definition.
  • Tracks actual program costs, identifies variances, and reforecasts program costs as needed.
  • Measures program management performance against standards.
  • Ensures appropriate program staffing levels.
  • Establishes program communication needs and creates program communication plan.
  • Creates the program risk management plan.
  • Works with the procurement team to create, administer, track, and eventually close program contracts.
  • Makes recommendations for training and development needs for assigned personnel.
  • Coaches and evaluates team's performance and makes recommendations for pay increases, promotions, etc.
  • Avoids and mitigates risks when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct, and business practices, and escalating, managing, and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervising the activity of others and creating accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.

**Requirements**

  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills.

  • Experience in program management, preferably in a financial institution.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
