Ge Aviation is seeking a highly skilled Aircraft Engines Prognostics and Health Management Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for providing valuable insights into the health condition of aircraft engines and their components.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of aircraft engine systems and their architectures.
- Design and implement advanced prognostics and health management software using Model-Based Design and Hand-Coded languages.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address technical issues related to aircraft engine health management.
- Provide coaching and training to less experienced engineers on prognostics and health management best practices.
- Lead and coordinate multi-disciplinary team activities to ensure successful project delivery.
- Engage with stakeholders to communicate technical information and provide status updates on project progress.
**Requirements**
- Bachelor's degree in Electronic, Mechatronic, Computer Systems engineering, or a related field.
- Advanced programming skills in C, C++, MATLAB, and model-based environments such as SCADE or SIMULINK.
- Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new programming languages and technologies.
- Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills, with experience working in multidisciplinary teams.
- Effective written and oral communication skills in English and Spanish.
**Preferred Qualifications**
- Knowledge of aircraft engine performance and operational parameters.
- Experience with Digital Signal Processing techniques.
- Experience with Data Mining techniques and Machine Learning algorithms.
