About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Wiring Harness Engineer to join our team at Naps Juárez. As a key member of our quality and process team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cable assembly operations.

Job Description

The successful candidate will have a strong background in wire harness assembly, with a minimum of 2 years' experience in this field. A degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering is preferred.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Leading the wire harness-cable assembly operations by establishing production lines
  • Supporting team members in developing customer products by guiding feasibility studies, transfer, and setup of equipment
  • Providing technical guidance to production facilities and launch sites
  • Coodinating with QA Engineers and manufacturing personnel

You will be working within the parameters of our QM System to help us achieve our quality goals and growth objectives.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • 2 years of wire harness assembly experience
  • Automotive or industrial familiarity with industry practices
  • Knowledge of IPC-A-620
  • Advanced skills in stripping, cutting, crimping, and quality test equipment for cable assembly

In addition, you should have excellent communication skills and the ability to read wire lists and discern multiple color wires, contacts, and components.
