About the Role

As a Financial Data Migration Specialist for Finance, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless migration of financial data into our LDC ERP program. Your primary focus will be on guaranteeing that data is delivered according to global, deployment, and country-specific requirements and timelines.

This position involves being responsible for data migration activities within a deployment (above-country) for designated data objects, including finance master data, assets, accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and profit and loss reporting. You will act as the functional Single Point of Contact (SPoC) for data migration on assigned objects for a given release.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Perform or ensure data cleansing tasks are completed on time
  • Complete data collection for manual/construction objects on time
  • Work together with IT counterparts to prepare value mappings
  • Create and maintain master lists if applicable for assigned objects
  • Provide business insights and information to technical teams for extraction and conversion from legacy systems for assigned data objects
  • Collaborate with the IT team and country Business Data Owners to identify objects in scope for countries
  • Ensure data readiness and verify quality throughout the data journey for assigned data objects
  • Verify that data is fit for purpose, including alignment with internal/external stakeholders
  • Approve upload files before and after loading for all assigned data objects, including formal approval
  • Perform manual (type-in) data loads into target clients where applicable for assigned objects
  • Perform dual maintenance
  • Execute and approve data verification scripts
  • Act as SPoC for assigned objects as part of the defect management process during Hypercare

Key Performance Indicators:

  • Data cleansing completion for relevant data objects on projects within the region based on given data migration schedules
  • Data loads completion for relevant data objects on projects within the region based on given data migration schedules
  • All major issues related to data quality for relevant data objects resolved based on given project schedules

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in country and global roles, preferably in ERP project implementation
  • Bachelor or Master's degree preferred
  • Strong knowledge of finance business processes, especially in the area of finance master data, assets, general ledger, and profit and loss reporting
  • Data migration experience is preferred
  • Good communication and negotiation skills, with strong stakeholder management
  • Strategic and hands-on approach to work, including running meetings, tracking progress, and managing issues
  • Strong Excel skills

Additional Requirements:

  • Fluent English language skills, with additional languages preferred

Compensation:

The estimated salary for this position is around $70,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on your level of experience and qualifications. Please note that this figure is an estimate and may vary based on various factors.
