Sitecore Architect

Johnson Controls International is seeking an experienced and skilled Sitecore Architect to lead the design and implementation of complex Sitecore solutions. As a key member of our Global Marketing IT team, you will be responsible for analyzing business requirements, designing technical solutions, and overseeing development efforts to ensure successful delivery of high-quality Sitecore projects.

1. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements and translate them into robust Sitecore solutions.
2. Design architecture and technical solutions that align with business goals, best practices, and industry standards.
3. Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams, ensuring adherence to architectural guidelines, coding standards, and best practices.
4. Drive decisions on technology selection, integrations, and overall system design.
5. Possess a deep understanding of the Sitecore platform, its features, capabilities, and integration points.
6. Hands-on experience in managing complex Sitecore solutions with globally shared centralized SXA component inventory.
7. Define the overall system architecture, including integrations with third-party systems, databases, APIs, and external services.
8. Ensure seamless data flow and interoperability among different components.
9. Promote continuous improvement and mentor team members on coding standards and architectural principles.
10. Analyze complex technical challenges and provide innovative solutions to address them.
11. Troubleshoot issues, propose workarounds, and resolve roadblocks in collaboration with development teams.
12. Create and maintain technical documentation, architectural diagrams, and design documents.

1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
2. Proven experience as a Sitecore Architect or similar role with at least 5+ years of experience.
3. Strong expertise in Sitecore CMS, including Sitecore XP, Sitecore SXA, and Sitecore JSS.
4. Working experience on Next-gen Sitecore Composable platforms like Sitecore Personalize, CDP, Order Cloud, XM Cloud, etc.
5. Experience in migrating Sitecore.Net MVC Component library to Headless using React or Next.JS.
6. Hands-on experience on SearchStax, Coveo, Marketing Automation, Third Party Integrations.
7. Experience in Azure DevOps (CI/CD pipeline and ARM Template).
8. Proficiency in designing and implementing complex Sitecore solutions with globally shared centralized SXA component inventory.
9. Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and project management tools.
10. Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills with the ability to analyze complex technical challenges.
11. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
