- Improve Processes: Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to increase productivity, quality, and safety.
- Collaborate with Departments: Work closely with departments such as Maintenance, Planning, Materials, Quality, Safety, and Training to meet production objectives.
- Manage Budget: Develop and manage the production budget to ensure adherence to approved spending.
- Ensure Compliance: Ensure compliance with Carrier Excellence, Quality Management Systems (ISO), and Safety standards.
- Promote Continuous Improvement: Promote a culture of continuous improvement and implement Kaizen projects through Carrier Excellence Cx tools.
- Maintain 5S: Maintain optimal levels and impeccability of 5S in the production lines.
- Develop Staff: Develop operational staff through training and education to meet the needs of the area.
- Conduct Performance Evaluations: Conduct performance evaluations of team members and provide constructive feedback.
- Manage KPIs: Monitor and manage departmental KPI metrics.
- Education: Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Industrial and Systems Engineer related career. Master's degree in Manufacturing or related field is desirable.
- Experience: 10-15 years in Manufacturing or Production areas. 5+ years in a management position.
- Language Skills: Advanced English.
- Skills: Intermediate or advanced knowledge of manufacturing systems and problem-solving. Principles of Lean Manufacturing and Industrial Engineering. Analytical and planning skills. Effective communication skills. Microsoft Office advanced Excel skills.
- Leadership Skills: Responsible leadership in resource management, focused on meeting tactical and strategic objectives.
- Manufacturing Experience: Experience in manufacturing processes with over 600 employees.
- Problem-Solving Methodology: Problem-solving methodology: PDCA, A3, 8D's, 5S, DOE.
- Lean Manufacturing Tools: Use of Lean Manufacturing tools: Standard Work, 8 Wastes, VSM, etc.
