Dishwashing Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Dishwashing Specialist to join our team at Courtyard by Marriott. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who take pride in their work and are committed to delivering exceptional results.

As a Dishwashing Specialist, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining cleaning equipment and tools, including the dish washing machine, hand wash stations, pot-scrubbing station, and trash compactor. You will also wash and disinfect kitchen and store room areas, tables, tools, knives, and equipment.

You will receive deliveries, store perishables properly, and rotate stock. Additionally, you will ensure clean wares are stored in appropriate areas and use detergent, rinsing, and sanitizing chemicals in the 3-compartment sink to clean dishes.

Key responsibilities include:

• Inspect, pull, and stack cleaned items
• Send soiled items back for re-scrubbing and re-washing
• Rack and spray all racked items with hot water to loosen and remove food residue
• Sort, soak, and wash/re-wash silverware
• Break down dirty bus tubs
• Empty and maintain trashcans and dumpster area

Earn a competitive salary of $15-$20 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A high school diploma or equivalent
• 1-2 years of experience in a similar role
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
