Key Responsibilities- Provide governance and guidance to JCI's Network team on cyber security best practices.
- Collaborate with the team to validate security controls and ensure compliance with Johnson Controls standards.
- Act as an internal consultant to business units and Infrastructure IT, providing technical input on security-related standards and technology roadmaps.
- Stay up-to-date with current and evolving technologies in the application security area and provide recommendations for implementation.
- Adhere to all current changes and problem management policies and procedures.
- Bachelor's degree in computer engineering, computer security, or computer science discipline or equivalent experience.
- 3-5 years of cyber security network-related experience working with teams in cyber security network operations and engineering.
- Experience with validation security tools, including Tufin, Qualys, and other firewall management tools and auditing tools.
- Familiarity with network security methodologies, tactics, techniques, and procedures.
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences at different seniority levels.
We are seeking a passionate information security professional with the ability to communicate complex ideas to different stakeholders. The successful candidate will be able to execute the Information Security architecture management strategy defined by leaders and demonstrate drive, intelligence, maturity, and energy.
