Job Summary
The Global Supply Chain Coordinator will be responsible for planning and maintaining inventories in accordance with company policies. This role will involve updating the Plan for Every Part (PFEP) tool to establish safety stock levels, sending purchase orders to suppliers, and expediting orders to ensure timely delivery to customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Update the PFEP tool to establish necessary safety stock levels on a monthly basis.
- Plan and maintain inventories in accordance with company policies.
- Send purchase orders to suppliers.
- Expedite orders to ensure timely delivery to customers.
- Follow up with suppliers and forwarders to prioritize shipments.
- Participate in High Performance Teams and Kaizen events to improve work productivity.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Administration, Business, International Trade, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Bilingual level of English.
- At least 3 years of experience as a Planner/Buyer.
- Knowledge of Kanban, High Performance Teams, Problem Solving Techniques, MRP & MPS, JDEdwards, Inventory Control, Excel, and trade compliance.
