  • Conducts intricate engineering evaluations, assessments, and development tasks.

  • Designs, fabricates, and assembles new or altered mechanical components or assemblies for products including industrial machinery, power systems, server technologies, machine tools, and measurement devices.
  • Establishes and executes tests on complete units and components under operational conditions to assess design efficacy or to collect data for development, standardization, quality assurance, and troubleshooting.
  • Evaluates indicated and computed test results in relation to design or rated specifications and test goals, modifying or adjusting equipment to comply with specifications.
  • Documents testing procedures and outcomes, including numerical and graphical data, along with recommendations for product or testing method enhancements.
  • Maintains software, documentation, and equipment to the latest revisions or operational standards.
  • Aids engineers in the development and design of hardware and software necessary for testing customer products according to their specifications.
  • Provides training to technicians and operators on products, processes, and equipment.

  • Support the creation and delivery of customer presentations and engage with clients.
  • Collaborate with engineers on external third-party developments.

Education / Experience

Generally requires an Associate's degree, military training, equivalent vocational training, or relevant experience. Typically necessitates 10 years of related experience.

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities

Acts as an expert/consultant in technical skills among peers. Demonstrates proficiency in advanced technologies and functional techniques, enhancing processes. Capable of drafting reports, business correspondence, and procedural documentation. Effectively presents information and addresses inquiries from management and clients. Proficient in mathematical concepts such as probability, statistical inference, and fundamentals of geometry and trigonometry. Able to identify problems, gather data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Capable of interpreting a wide variety of technical instructions.
