Position Summary

The Parts Logistics Coordinator is essential in ensuring operational excellence and quality within the supply chain of an automotive enterprise. This role involves overseeing daily warehouse functions, ensuring compliance with regulations, optimizing workflows, and coordinating transportation to guarantee timely and high-quality deliveries.

The primary goal of the Parts Logistics Coordinator is to facilitate the efficient and prompt delivery of materials to authorized dealers, managing national parts logistics with a focus on supply chain performance indicators, while adhering to the quality standards set forth by the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise daily warehouse operations.
  • Implement 5S methodology to maintain an organized workspace.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory standards and enhance operational processes.
  • Oversee and manage inventory levels effectively.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits.
  • Coordinate with outsourced transportation services.
  • Guarantee the timeliness and quality of all deliveries.
  • Maintain effective communication with transportation partners.
  • Optimize transportation routes for improved efficiency.
  • Address daily operational deviations in logistics.
  • Forecast demand and ensure sufficient supply.
  • Implement both preventive and corrective measures.
  • Maintain comprehensive records and reports of operational deviations.
  • Identify and act on opportunities for improvement in storage and transportation.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Train staff on best practices in logistics.
  • Monitor and report on supply chain performance indicators.
  • Ensure compliance with established performance metrics.
  • Generate and analyze operational performance reports.
  • Make informed decisions to enhance logistical operations.
