**Job Description Summary:** This role oversees future-focused projects and current state programs that drive business operations forward. As a bilingual English/Spanish Program Project Manager, you will play a crucial part in coordinating project and program resources engaged with all initiatives within the selected functional area portfolio. The Program Project Manager is a primary resource of the Global Entity Management & Oversight PMO, project/program-related steering committees, and reports directly to the Director, PMO. This position involves senior executive engagement and reporting on the status and performance of initiatives within the selected functional area portfolio. A successful portfolio manager will influence program and project prioritization for initiatives within the program, facilitating discussions with senior leadership to optimize available resources. This role assumes overarching responsibility for supporting organizational leadership in overseeing, managing programs and projects across the entire life cycle to achieve enterprise goals and objectives effectively.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Lead and execute projects from inception to completion on behalf of stakeholders.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Optimize resource allocation to achieve project objectives.
- Identify and integrate essential functions for project success.
- Develop and implement effective reporting mechanisms to monitor project progress and performance and provide guidance for optimal outcomes.
- Provide comprehensive portfolio oversight, escalating risks and issues for timely resolution.
- Exercise independent judgment to challenge business decisions and ensure transparency.
- Identify and leverage synergies across the portfolio to drive process improvements.
**Expected Behaviors:**
- Collaborate with the PMO Director to facilitate planning and prioritization processes that result in a portfolio composition reflective of our goals and include measurable outcomes and results.
- Manage strategic financial investments to optimize value and impact.
- Enable visibility to portfolio status, health, and risks at various levels of the organization.
- Facilitate cross-functional governance processes to promote alignment and engagement between PMO and business stakeholders.
**Qualifications:**
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English required.
- Proven experience in managing regulatory projects within banking or fintech sectors.
- In-depth knowledge of project management methodologies and the PMI framework.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and excel in high-pressure environments.
- Ability to lead and motivate teams.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for this role.
**Estimated Salary:** $85,000-$110,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
