Job Title: Motor Winding Engineer

Franklin Electric is seeking a highly skilled Motor Winding Engineer to join our team in Mexico - Linares. As a key member of our Engineering Department, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely repair of equipment, collaborating with Industrial Engineers to document accurate routings and cost information, and acquiring new equipment to support our manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Effectively communicate with customers, clients, and employees to provide information and respond to questions.
  • Maintain confidentiality and use discretion when handling business information.
  • Read and understand documents such as policy manuals, safety rules, and operating instructions.
  • Write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Utilize common sense to carry out written, oral, or diagrammed instructions.
  • Deal with problems involving several known variables in routine situations.
  • Plan and prioritize work assignments, and occasionally assist in planning work for others.
  • Makes decisions of minor and major importance that may affect the work operations of other employees and/or clientele.
  • Complete moderately repetitive tasks.
  • Operate complex and non-complex machines and equipment.
  • Apply Six Sigma and Statistical Analysis to solve complex problems.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Core Quality Tools.
  • Read and understand manufacturing drawings and their symbols and tolerances (GD&T).
  • Advanced written and oral communication skills in English language.
Requirements:
  • Experience in Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering.
  • 1 year of experience in motor winding area.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, GD&T, and Project Management.
