About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Customer Data Governance Specialist to join our team at PepsiCo. As a key member of our global data governance team, you will be responsible for maintaining alignment to the Enterprise Data Governance's (EDG) processes, rules, and standards to ensure data is fit for purpose.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the single point of contact for those creating and consuming data within their respective data domain(s).
  • Drive the team to interact directly with key domain and project stakeholders, the EDG Lead, Governance Council, other data stewards across the organization, and relevant SMEs throughout the organization as necessary.
  • Collaborate with PepsiCo's Governance Council to ensure the success of PepsiCo's EDG program.
  • Promote data accuracy and adherence to PepsiCo defined global governance practices.
  • Maintain and advise relevant stakeholders on data governance-related matters in specific domains (Customer, Material, Vendor, Finance, Consumer).
  • Provide recommendations and supporting documentation for new or proposed data standards, business rules, and policy.
  • Advise on various projects and initiatives to ensure that any data-related changes and dependencies are identified, communicated, and managed to ensure adherence with the Enterprise Data Governance established standards.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
  • 5+ years of experience working in Customer Operations, Data Governance, or Data Management within a global CPG company.
  • Strong data management background with a deep understanding of data, data quality, and stewardship.
  • Experience working with data in the specific Customer/Order to Cash Customer domain.
  • Ability to partner with business and technical subject matter experts to ensure standardization of operational information and execution of enterprise-wide data governance policies and procedures.
