The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Contracting Specialist to join our team in Mexico, Belize, and Guatemala. As a key member of our regional destination team, you will be responsible for executing our buying strategy, ensuring cost objectives and service standards are met. This includes conducting research, negotiating vendor contracts, and building relationships with existing and new vendors.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute regional buying strategies that meet our cost objectives and service standards.
- Build and maintain relationships with vendors, encouraging innovative solutions to challenges and maximizing cost value.
- Negotiate vendor contracts, ensuring G Adventures is preferred and costs are optimized.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to optimize purchasing and utilization in the region.
- Communicate results and cost estimates to meet deadlines.
- Update budgets accurately and in a timely manner.
- Develop and build awareness of the competitive marketplace through local market intelligence.
