The Business Intelligence Analyst role at Johnson Controls involves collecting and coordinating business requirements for analytical reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor the performance of reports and dashboards, complete data validations, resolve data integrity issues and develop/enhance processes with simplification or automation.
- Ensure the most effective usage of BI data and Process Automation.
- Collaborate with internal IT teams to deliver technology solutions that enable business decision making.
Technical Requirements:
- Develop financial databases for all ERPs & business units.
- Standardize and automate financial and operational performance reports and dashboards using multiple data sources and leveraging modern BI tools.
- Partner with IT team to design data repository.
- Drive efficiencies by elimination of repetitive data mining and improve accessibility of detailed financial data needed for business reviews. Recommend improvements where applicable.
- Develop tools and reports to create transparency on business performance in cooperation with FP&A.
- Support our reporting transformation from HFM to One Stream.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
- 5+ years of information systems experience performing Business Analysis related work.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 suite for development (Flows, Power App).
- Professional image with the ability to form good partner relationships across functions.
- Fluent English & strong communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills; ability to work effectively across functions.
- Problem-solving skills - ability to navigate technology and organizational issues to complete project tasks.
- Must have experience working on projects as well as handling day-to-day operational requests from the business.
- Strong ability to successfully manage multiple tasks at any given point.
