Job Description

To deploy the corporate operation strategy in operational plan managing the execution of production process to meet/exceed the Annual Strategic and Operating Plan and customer service requirements. To oversee Production, Maintenance and Industrialization operations, developing production plans in order to meet business objectives and legal requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Oversee Daily Plant Operations: Ensure efficient production processes and high-quality output.
  2. Develop and Implement Strategies: Improve productivity, reduce costs, and enhance overall plant performance.
  3. Lead and Manage Plant Staff: Direct supervision of plant managers, supervisors, and operational staff.
  4. Foster a Positive Work Environment: Focus on team development and performance management.
  5. Ensure Correct Material Supply: Maintain inventory and ensure compliance with all safety regulations and environmental laws.
  6. Implement and Maintain Safety Protocols: Conduct regular safety audits and promote a culture of safety among employees.
  7. Develop and Oversee Production Schedules: Ensure timely completion of orders and efficient use of resources.
  8. Coordinate with Other Departments: Align production activities with company goals.
  9. Prepare and Manage the Plant Budget: Capital expenditures and operational costs.
  10. Analyze Financial Performance: Identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize resource allocation.
  11. Responsible for Local Engineering Manager: Implement new technologies and develop production tools and methods to improve factory results.
  12. Responsible for Local R&D Manager: Implement new product documentation and adapt product to local needs to meet better costs.
  13. Oversee Maintenance and Repair of Plant Equipment: Ensure minimal downtime and maximum efficiency.
  14. Develop and Implement Preventive Maintenance Programs: Manage maintenance staff and identify opportunities for process improvements.
  15. Utilize Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma: Drive continuous improvement and enhance plant operations.
  16. Provide Regular Reports to Senior Management: Plant performance, key metrics, and operational challenges.
  17. Communicate Effectively with Stakeholders: Suppliers, customers, and internal teams.
  18. Manage Plant Projects: Upgrades, expansions, and new initiatives.
  19. Coordinate Project Timelines, Resources, and Budgets: Ensure successful completion and integration.
  20. Ensure Customer Satisfaction: Meet production deadlines and maintain product quality.
  21. Address Customer Concerns and Feedback: Plant operations and product delivery.
  22. Ensure Proper Documentation and Compliance: Industry standards and company policies.
  23. Maintain Records Related to Production, Safety, Quality, and Regulatory Compliance.
  24. Monitor and Maintain Product Quality Standards: Company and industry guidelines.
  25. Address and Resolve Quality Issues: Corrective actions as needed.
Qualifications
  1. Experience Required: 8-10 years of progressive experience in plant management or related roles within a multinational environment.
  2. Demonstrated Success: Managing large-scale production facilities, including responsibility for multiple departments.
  3. Proven Track Record: Leading and developing large teams, including direct supervision of plant managers, supervisors, and operational staff.
  4. Experience with Process Improvement Methodologies: Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar approaches to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
  5. Experience with Global Plant Management Software: ERP systems and advanced technological tools used in international operations.
  6. Ability to Coordinate and Oversee Projects: Across different time zones and cultural contexts.
  7. Education Required: Bachelor's degree in engineering, Industrial Management, Operations Management, or a related field.
  8. Fluent Communication: Spanish and English.
  9. MBA or Master's Degree: May be preferred.
  10. Certifications: Relevant certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional) or Six Sigma Black Belt can be advantageous.
