- Design and develop software solutions for our embedded systems, including kernel drivers, device firmware, and system software.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of software and hardware components.
- Develop and maintain high-quality software code, adhering to industry standards and best practices.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of our software development processes.
- Work closely with our silicon partners to optimize Ubuntu on their latest and greatest chips.
About Our Team
Our team is responsible for developing and maintaining the Ubuntu Core, a fully containerized version of Ubuntu that is mathematically precise and rigorously secure. We are working on additional solutions for even smaller devices and have several teams that focus on open source for embedded environments.
What You'll Need
- Strong understanding of Linux kernel development and embedded systems.
- Experience with C and C++ programming languages.
- Knowledge of device firmware and system software development.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
