**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Controller to join our team at Accor Hotels. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely preparation of financial reports, managing cash flow, and maintaining compliance with all relevant financial regulations.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Prepare and post daily revenues and banking documents
  • Reconcile, review, and submit quarterly and monthly VAT
  • Review all payments and submit for bank load and approval
  • Complete bank reconciliations
  • Reconcile PAYE payments to payroll software and ensure HMRC portal managed
  • Manage the hotel's accounts payable and receivable functions
  • Conduct internal audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with financial policies and regulations
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
  • Manage payroll processing and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations
  • Reconcile bank statements and manage cash flow
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal financial regulations
  • Assist in the preparation for external audits and liaise with external auditors
  • Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard the hotel's assets

**Requirements**

  • Previous experience in hotels is preferred but not mandatory
  • Previous experience in income audit or accounts payable
  • Understanding of the basic accounting functions
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills
