Job Title: Sr. HSE Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) Engineer to join our team in $110,000 - $140,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing effective safety protocols to ensure the well-being of employees and minimize environmental impact.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement safety programs: Design, execute, and maintain occupational health, safety, and environmental programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Safety culture development: Foster a culture of safety awareness throughout the organization, emphasizing effective communication and employee involvement.
• Audits and assessments: Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and hazard assessments to identify potential risks and implement corrective actions.
• Training and education: Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs to enhance employee knowledge and skills in areas such as electrical safety, emergency response, and ergonomics.
• Incident investigations: Lead thorough investigations into workplace incidents, identifying root causes and recommending corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
• Maintenance of records: Ensure accurate and up-to-date documentation of all safety-related activities, including chemical inventory lists and SDS databases.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years' experience: In related fields such as safety, ergonomics, industrial hygiene, environmental compliance, or hazardous waste management.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Certifications: First aid, firefighting, LoTo, ergonomics, or other relevant certifications are desirable.
