Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Senior Software Developer Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our development team, you'll apply advanced knowledge of development principles to design, develop, test, and deploy Java-based application software.

Key Responsibilities

  • Apply advanced knowledge of development principles to deliver high-quality software solutions.
  • Design, develop, test, and deploy Java-based application software to meet business requirements.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve delivery of daily work and implement process improvements.
  • Champion customer community needs and user experience enhancements.
  • Act as technical point of contact for a subset of larger projects.
  • Coach/mentor others in application, platform, and/or global architectural standards.
  • Engage in and adapt to software development engineering best practices.
  • Participate in team-centric development practices and contribute to a collaborative environment.
  • Provide tactical and technical support on tasks and projects.
  • Serve as both team member or team lead on different portions of work efforts.
  • Share knowledge with others and assist new team members.

Requirements

  • 5+ years Java Development/DevOps background.
  • 5+ years of experience developing in an Agile team environment using iterative techniques (preferably SAFe).
  • Informed team member who can exercise independent judgment within defined practices and procedures.
  • Analyzing and solving problems.
  • Maintaining and reading pre-existing code.
  • Experience developing, deploying, or supporting commercial, customer-facing solutions.
  • Experience using XML processing technologies like JiBX, JAXB.
  • Experience with test-driven development (JUnit, Mockito).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Salary Range

$120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
