Job Summary

As a Tool Room Supervisor at Schlage de Mexico S.A. de C.V., you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production equipment. You will be responsible for supervising the maintenance activities of our organization, monitoring workers, and assisting with root cause analysis of equipment failures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and supervise workers responsible for equipment maintenance and related systems.
  • Assist with root cause analysis of equipment failures and implement fixes.
  • Coordinate preventative maintenance with production planning staff and inspect work for completeness.
  • Receive and prioritize maintenance requests, assigning technicians to open work orders.
  • Inspect equipment regularly to identify current and potential maintenance needs.
  • Maintain records and documentation related to repairs made.
  • Oversee the work of technical maintenance staff, contractors, or subcontractors.
Requirements
  • Knowledge of field policies, procedures, and practices.
  • Leadership and direction of other employees.
  • Typically requires a bachelor's degree and 4 or more years of experience.
  • Reports to a department head or manager.
