Job Summary

Belcan Corporation is seeking a highly experienced Senior Manufacturing Leader to join our team. As a Senior Manufacturing Leader, you will be responsible for providing leadership and expertise in planning, organizing, coordinating, and running optimum day-to-day operations to exceed customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Leadership and Expertise: Provide leadership and expertise in planning, organizing, coordinating, and running optimum day-to-day operations to exceed customer expectations.
  2. Operations Management: Responsible for managing the utilization of equipment, facilities, and personnel to obtain maximum efficiency and meet performance objectives.
  3. Business Acumen: Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership techniques, production methods, and coordination of people and resources is needed.
  4. Process Improvement: Increase production, assets capacity, and flexibility while minimizing unnecessary costs.
  5. Quality and Shipping: Responsible for production output, product quality, and on-time shipping.
  6. Resource Allocation: Allocate resources effectively and fully utilize assets to produce optimal results.
  7. Strategic Initiatives: Implement strategies in alignment with strategic initiatives and provide a clear sense of direction and focus plant-wide.
  8. Monitoring and Corrective Action: Monitor operations and trigger corrective actions.
  9. Compliance and Accuracy: Monitor all internal systems for accuracy and compliance with company rules, standards, expectations, and applicable laws.
  10. Project Management: Control significant manufacturing projects, plan and schedule facility assignments, and set priorities.
  11. Team Collaboration: Support all cross-functional teams to proactively develop product and service solutions.
  12. Budgeting and Planning: Prepare budgets for approval, including those for funding and implementation of programs.
  13. Analysis and Feasibility: Analyze technology, resource needs, and market demand, to plan and assess the feasibility of projects.
Requirements
  1. Professional Degree
  2. Bilingual Candidate: This position requires a bi-lingual candidate (fluent/conversational in English and Spanish)
  3. Manufacturing Expertise: Must possess thorough knowledge of product and production processes.
  4. Leadership Experience: Experience with increased responsibility and management in manufacturing facility management, supply chain, production, plant management, operations, etc.
  5. Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with all key stakeholders, managers, and experts at various levels.
  6. Teamwork and Problem-Solving: Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams and in a project management environment.
  7. Complex Problem-Solving: Can identify complex problems and review related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions.
  8. Continuous Improvement: Previous experience/best practices implementing and using continuous improvement/lean tools such as Six Sigma, 5S, Lean Manufacturing.
  9. Leadership Experience: Past experiences as one of the following: Top Consultant, Production Manager, Plant Manager, Vice President, Strategic Subject Matter Expert, Operations Leader, Quality Manager, Materials Manager, etc.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills
  1. International Travel: Able to travel internationally (USA Mainly)
