We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team at Right at Home of Northeast, MS. As a CNA, you will provide non-medical care and assistance to elderly and disabled individuals in the comfort of their own homes.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist patients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, ambulation, eating, dressing, and shaving.
  • Prepare meals and snacks according to patient needs.
  • Perform patient-specific activities taught by a nurse, such as assisting with ostomy appliances, reinforcement of dressings, and range of motion exercises.
  • Perform homemaking activities, including vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping floors, doing dishes, changing bed linens, and cleaning bathrooms.

Requirements:

  • Experience as a caregiver, preferably in healthcare settings.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
  • 18 years of age or older.
  • Pass a written competency evaluation with 80% or higher.
  • Six months experience as a Personal Care Assistant in healthcare settings.
  • Successful completion of a Certified Nursing Assistant License.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English as needed for the job.
  • Possess a valid driver's license and have use of an insured automobile or access to adequate transportation for the job.
