We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Automation Engineer to join our team at Adient. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing automation solutions that drive business growth and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the development of automation standards and specifications for equipment.
- Design and implement PLC programming for various types of equipment.
- Troubleshoot complex automation issues and optimize system performance.
- Participate in Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) to identify and implement error-proofing requirements.
- Collaborate with the maintenance team to resolve equipment issues and improve overall system reliability.
- Develop and maintain expertise in vision system technology, including Keyence and Cognex.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in automation engineering, with a strong background in PLC programming and control systems.
- Proficiency in Allen Bradley's RS Logix 5, RS Logix 5000, and ControLogix software.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
