Production Supervisor

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Supervisor to lead our assembly operations in the plant. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating the work of production departments, ensuring quality and efficiency, and driving continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate the work of production departments to meet customer shipping requirements, work schedules, and quality levels.
- Analyze and determine material, equipment, and staffing requirements to optimize production processes.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities to enhance productivity and quality.
- Ensure compliance with shop floor standards, including BOS, 5S, Policy and Procedures, and Employee Relations Activities.
- Develop and implement quality control measures to prevent defects and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Motivate and direct the training of production personnel to improve their skills and performance.
- Act as a liaison with managers and staff to communicate relevant information and ensure effective collaboration.
- Jointly establish individual objectives with production personnel to align with company goals.
- Understand and participate in HSE&E practices applicable to the job function.
- Report accidents, occupational illnesses, and HSE&E emergencies, and inform supervisor of known HSE&E conditions.
- Ensure compliance with all safety procedures and safe working practices in assigned production areas.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in production supervision or management.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
- Knowledge of quality control measures and continuous improvement techniques.
- Experience with shop floor standards and employee relations activities.
- Ability to motivate and direct production personnel.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
