• Investigate and recommend suitable automation systems to increase manufacturing capabilities, improve quality, and reduce processing costs.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement automated equipment and processes.

• Review and validate vendor proposals to ensure they meet our requirements.

• Oversee the installation and commissioning of automation systems to meet quality, cost, and delivery metrics.

• Provide technical assistance and guidance to Equipment Engineering and Manufacturing Engineering teams.

• Participate in technical meetings to identify opportunities for automation and process improvement.

• Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for tools and equipment.

• Manage technician resources and lead automation projects.

• Develop programs for integration and communication with IoT systems.

• Create work instructions and setup instructions for automated processes.

**Requirements:**

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Manufacturing Engineering.

• 3 years of work experience in automation, with a focus on preventive maintenance implementation.

• Proficiency in PLC programming (SIEMENS as preferred, Tia Portal) and Lab View programming (Web Services, Data Analysis, SAP Communication).

• Experience in automation project leadership and a strong understanding of industrial automation principles.

• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to think logically and troubleshoot complex issues.

• Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a customer-oriented mindset.
