Salary Information

The successful candidate will be offered a competitive salary of $84,000 gross per annum, reflecting the high cost of living in Guadalajara, Jalisco. This package is commensurate with industry standards and takes into account the level of expertise required for this role.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to provide infrastructure expertise and support within our cross-functional feature team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud technologies, particularly GCP and Azure, and at least 4 years of experience in DevOps environments. Previous exposure to the banking industry/financial services is preferred.

The selected candidate will be responsible for:

  • Providing infrastructure expertise and support within the cross-functional feature team.
  • Implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub, Jira, Confluence, Artifactory, Docker Containers, and Kubernetes.
  • Ensuring version control systems (Git/GitHub) and continuous integration tools (Jenkins) are properly managed.
  • Developing and maintaining Bash Shell scripts, Maven/Gradle scripts, and AIX/Linux administration skills.
  • Working knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Familiarity with software security tools like BlackDuck, Fortify, Aquasec, and SonarQube.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • At least 4 years of experience in DevOps environments.
  • Strong development background and experience with cloud technologies (GCP, Azure).
  • Proficiency in tools required to automate CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub, Jira, Confluence, Artifactory, Docker Containers, Kubernetes).
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Expertise in Automation & excellent documentation skills.
  • Advanced knowledge in automating Linux platforms leveraging Bash.
  • Strong knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, VPC, subnetting, VPNs), security, and optimization.
