Job DescriptionThis role will develop, implement, and improve quality plans, programs, procedures, and systems using statistical analyses, lean manufacturing concepts, and six sigma tools and analyses. The incumbent will review, analyze, and report on quality system and process discrepancies and develop/implement best practices for standardization and excellence. Ensuring that performance and quality products conform to established company and regulatory standards is key to this role.

- Reviews, analyzes, and reports on quality discrepancies related to assembly, process, mechanical, electrical, and/or electro-mechanical systems.
- Investigates problems and develops disposition and corrective actions for recurring discrepancies. Recommends corrective actions, dispositions, and modifications.
- Develops and implements program quality plans, programs, and procedures using statistical quality control statistics, lean manufacturing concepts, and ELS tools and analyses. Leads and/or participates in quality process improvement projects.
- Interfaces with manufacturing, engineering, customer, vendor, and subcontractor representatives to ensure requirements are met.
- Oversees the document control system by processing document change requests and working with division to develop new documents.
- Creates, reviews, and approves changes to the quality system process to devise best practices and reduce process variation.
- Consults with quality managers on best practices.
- Develops and updates quality and ISO 9001 system training programs and trains all levels of employees on these systems.
- Provides on- and off-site quality system consultation to all division locations.
- Audits and tests the quality system to ensure sustainability of processes and compliance with Company and legal requirements (i.e., ISO 9001).
- Reports on quality system metrics and presents to site and division leadership and audit team.
