Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Housekeeping Coordinator to join our team at The St. Regis Punta Mita Resort. As a key member of our Housekeeping department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our daily housekeeping activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Run sold room reports and verify room status to determine discrepant rooms.
  • Prioritize room cleaning and update the status of departing guest rooms.
  • Assist Housekeeping management in managing daily activities and coordinate with other departments.
  • Document and resolve issues with discrepant rooms with the Front Desk.
  • Prepare and distribute room assignments to Housekeeping staff.
  • Record, monitor, and update the list of 'Do Not Disturb' rooms.
  • Ensure that vacant dirty rooms are cleaned by the necessary time and assign rush rooms and rooms previously on the 'Do Not Disturb' list.
  • Complete required Housekeeping paperwork.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
  • At least 1 year of related work experience.
  • No supervisory experience required.
