Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Product Development Associate to join our team at Progressive Automations. As a key member of our B2C Team, you will play a vital role in supporting our customers by providing expert recommendations, processing purchase orders, and answering complex product-related questions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to customer inquiries by providing detailed product information and recommendations.
- Process purchase orders and support the team with administrative tasks.
- Collaborate with colleagues to resolve customer issues and improve product knowledge.
- Document and communicate website, datasheet, and product issues to the B2C Manager.
Requirements:
- Diploma in Electronics, Mechanical, or Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a technical product engineering role, customer support, client services, sales, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical components.
- Experience with linear motion, actuators, control systems, or DC motors is considered an asset.
- Ability to stay calm and de-escalate when customers are stressed or upset.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
