The LEGO Group is a leader in the toy manufacturing industry, committed to inspiring and developing builders of tomorrow. We're seeking an experienced Production Excellence Lead to join our team and drive operational excellence across our moulding production module operations.
Job Summary
We're offering a competitive salary of $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as a range of benefits, including enhanced paid leave options, life and disability insurance, and a generous colleague discount.
About the Role
As a Production Excellence Lead, you will be responsible for leading a team of employees (+60) to ensure efficient operation and problem-solving within the moulding production area. You will be accountable for managing resources and competences, driving continuous improvement performance of staff, equipment, and processes, and collaborating with other areas to share and drive projects.
Responsibilities
- Lead the moulding production module operations through effective team management and collaboration with other areas.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and cost parameters, and monitor critical metrics.
- Handle employee development, ensuring their safety, growth, and building a high-performing team.
- Drive process improvements and optimize resource allocation to enhance productivity and efficiency.
- Collaborate with local and global partners to align expectations and implement Continuous Improvement Projects.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- +7 years of experience in production or manufacturing environments.
- Experience leading groups of people (60+).
- Over 3 years of leadership experience in production or manufacturing environments.
- Proficiency in PC applications, Excel, and SAP (an advantage).
- Advanced English language skills.
