At Te Connectivity, our Strategic Sourcing Teams play a crucial role in developing and implementing multi-year strategies for assigned commodities, suppliers, and parts/services to achieve established goals in supplier quality, delivery, price, and service. They align strategy and execution with cross-functional partners such as engineering, manufacturing, product management, and functional owners. They execute the competitive bid, negotiation, contracting processes, and/or technical continuous improvement for assigned commodities or services; collaborate across Business Units and cross-regions for optimal TE leverage. Our teams demonstrate a high level of expertise in procurement competencies (business/supply chain acumen, negotiation, sourcing strategy development and execution, global savvy, and project and product lifecycle management) and ensure results are delivered compliant with TE policies and procedures.
**Key Responsibilities:**
• Develop, execute, and maintain Sourcing commodity strategies and processes within the NA & SA region.
• Develop cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, to deliver commodity strategies and productivity in support of business requirements and goals while driving synergies across the NA&SA region.
• Leverage extensive knowledge of sourcing, strategic sourcing processes, negotiation experience, and commodity management of Resins, especially in Masterbatch.
• Develop and execute leveraged agreements, multi-year contracts, and demonstrate knowledge of contract law.
• Utilize strong data mining and analysis skill-set to drive business decisions.
• Possess proactive, positive communication skills and demonstrated ability to create and execute a vision, as well as work within larger organizational objectives.
• Build consensus across multiple organizations and all levels of the enterprise, and demonstrate ability to move past barriers and build out bridges to new customers.
• Self-directed and motivated, with ability to independently lead multiple projects simultaneously and multi-task projects and assess priorities in a complex and demanding environment.
• Possess excellent verbal and written communication & presentation skills, and bias for action/self-starter.
• Effective facilitator, coach, and trainer, with demonstrated program management skills and ability to drive projects to completion.
• Ability to handle multiple customers/priorities with minimal supervision under challenging conditions, and ability to travel and work in a virtual environment.
**Requirements:**
• BA/BS in Business or other relevant discipline.
• 5+ years of relevant Sourcing experience.
