CAD Designer

We are seeking a skilled CAD Programmer to join our team at Marbach America, Inc.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare technical drawings and designs used by production to build various products for the paperboard packaging, label, gasket, and other converting industries.
• Use proprietary CAD software to prepare/generate manufacturing file programs.
• Generate CAD projects from various forms of customer data ranging from existing program files, blueprints, and specifications.
• Use various measuring equipment when needed based upon customer-supplied data.
• Perform other work-related duties as assigned.
• Work as a member of a design team, cooperating with the team leader and with management in an effective manner to perform tasks with high quality.
• Maintain and continually improve technical and professional abilities described above and required to perform assigned tasks.

Preferred Skills:

• Strong computer skills
• CAD background preferred but not required
• Strong understanding of Metric/Standard conversion
• Proficient in folding carton sheet-fed and web-fed tools
