Job Overview

We are seeking a licensed psychologist to perform medical assessments on United States Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process.

Key Responsibilities

• Review behavioral health records electronically through a secure Web Portal
• Perform comprehensive assessments in person on each Veteran
• Complete Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) through the Web Portal

Important Note

The Licensed Psychologist does not make disability determinations. The U.S. Veterans Administration makes all disability determinations, in part using the findings recorded in the DBQs.

Schedule and Work Environment

This is an IN-PERSON position, requiring the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. We estimate an average of 4 Veterans per day will be assessed.

Requirements and Qualifications

• A Ph.D. or Psy.D. from an APA Accredited program/school
• An active & unrestricted Psychology license
• Meets the credentialing requirements set forth by the VA
• Malpractice Insurance covered by MRG
• Health insurance options available

Compensation

We offer a competitive salary of $120,000 - $150,000 per year, commensurate with experience. This role is an Independent Contractor position, allowing for flexibility and autonomy.
