**The Opportunity**

We are expanding our presence in Mexico to support our organization and are looking for a Mechanical Inspector to play a critical role in ensuring the success of our construction projects. This position will be based in Coatzacoalcos, Veracruz.

**Responsibilities**

  • Report to the Construction Manager and Chief Inspector.
  • Ensure Company specifications and approved project specific documentation are received prior to commencing inspection activities.
  • Review and understand applicable inspection roles, responsibilities, qualifications, and minimum training requirements.
  • Maintain lines of communication with key stakeholders, including Construction Manager, Chief Inspector, and Contractor.
  • Ensure that the Contractor immediately reports all incidents to appropriate project personnel and required authorities when appropriate.
  • Comply with applicable labor laws in the jurisdiction where the work is performed, Company Policies and Procedures, and the applicable Project Specific Security Plan or Site-Specific Security Plan.
  • Complete inspection reports for activities in accordance with project requirements.
  • Verify that the contractor performs tests or measurements as appropriate, and in accordance with an approved ITP.
