About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Engineer to join our Process Automation Process Industries team in North America, mainly in Mexico. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering solutions that meet our customers' needs while driving efficiency and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design Authority: You will be the design authority for an engineering discipline, ensuring that assignments are completed in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and cybersecurity policies and standards.
  • Project Management: You will create work plans and cost estimates for the portfolio of projects, ensuring quality, timely implementation within the targeted cost.
  • Collaboration: You will work with the customer to shape and deliver solutions, seeking customer feedback to drive and deliver improvements.
  • Coaching and Development: You will coach engineering colleagues on the translation of conceptual designs to engineering documentation, best practices, and lessons learned from past projects.
Qualifications
  • Automation Expertise: You have experience with automation products (PLC, Control Systems, SCADA systems, etc.).
  • Process Knowledge: You have advanced knowledge about the processes of Cement Industry.
  • System Familiarity: Familiarity with System 800xA with Minerals Libraries or similar will be an advantage.
  • Language Skills: Ease communicating in English and in Spanish.
  • Travel Requirements: Flexibility to travel.
  • Leadership Skills: Solid electrical knowledge and leadership skills.
  • Cultural Competence: Global mindset with a passion to work in diverse cultures.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Electronics, Automation and Control Engineering or related.
