About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Oracle Developer to join our team at Arrow Components Mexico S.A. de C.V. in Guadalajara. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing complex applications using Oracle technologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop high-quality Oracle applications, including interfaces, reports, and extensions.
  • Analyze and resolve production support issues, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal system performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements, leveraging the latest technologies and best practices.
  • Develop and maintain technical specifications, interface specifications, and systems design based on business/functional requirements.
  • Participate in system-level and user acceptance tests, ensuring that applications meet business needs and are delivered on time.

Requirements

  • 4-year degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 8-10 years of total experience, with at least 5 years as an Oracle Developer.
  • Advanced knowledge of Oracle technologies, including SQL, PL/SQL, SQL performance tuning, and Oracle EBS R12 application.
  • Strong skills in developing interfaces, reports, and extensions, with experience in building custom applications on top of ERP applications.
  • Good knowledge of professional software engineering practices and best practices for the full software development life cycle.
