About the Role
This position will oversee maintenance work groups, providing guidance and support to employees, ensuring compliance with EHS regulations and quality standards. The successful candidate will utilize strong leadership, technical, and problem-solving skills to drive team performance and achieve site objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a predictive and preventive maintenance strategy to optimize equipment performance and reduce downtime.
- Foster a safe work environment by promoting best practices and identifying potential hazards.
- Supervise plant maintenance functions, including mechanical and electrical equipment, control systems, and building facilities.
- Lead and develop direct reports, focusing on ownership, creative thinking, and economic decision-making.
- Partner with production areas to prioritize and execute work orders, ensuring assets remain reliable and on-target.
- Make informed decisions to address site priorities and drive business results.
Requirements
- Previous experience leading/supervising a technical team in a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of equipment servicing, planning, scheduling, and plant/project engineering.
- Experience establishing and administering a Predictive/Preventive Maintenance program and tracking results.
- Strong management and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and collaborate with diverse teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or higher.
- English fluency, with intermediate skills a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in Root Cause Analysis and project management.
