Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Materials Logistics Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and coordinating the areas and resources of Logistics/Shipping, Packaging Engineering, Raw Material Warehousing and MRO, Finished Product Warehouses, Final Packaging and Plant Forklift Maintenance. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with customers and internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage consignment inventories with outside suppliers
- Coordinate the areas and resources of Logistics/Shipping, Packaging Engineering, Raw Material Warehousing and MRO, Finished Product Warehouses, Final Packaging and Plant Forklift Maintenance
- Develop and implement effective inventory control and warehousing strategies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives
- Provide excellent customer service and communication
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
- 3 years of professional experience in Materials' area in the automotive industry, at a managerial level
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP/MRP Systems
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
