Lead Accountant

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our team at Bendix. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for participating in internal management reports, balance sheet reviews, internal controls, tax reporting and reconciliation, fixed asset tracking, Confianza Payroll Acuña, Monterrey and Mexico City, Social Security to Mexico City and Monterrey, State Taxes for Mexico City.

Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with management to prepare monthly and year-end financial reports.
• Conduct monthly journal entries for accruals and reversals.
• Develop and maintain inter-company reporting and analysis.
• Ensure accurate account reconciliations and Mexico tax reporting, reconciliations, and audits.
• Support operations and group finance requests for financial data.
• Participate in and coordinate Financial/Government Audit(s).
• Participate in Physical Inventory.
• Implement actions to correct financial performance.
• Track and manage fixed assets.

Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in accounting.
• Strong accounting experience with 4+ years experience.
• Exposure to SAP or other financial ERP systems preferred.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with all levels of the organization.
• Exceptional attention to detail focus on error prevention.
• Total flexibility showing an ability to work with diverse personalities and support multiple priorities.
• Ability to analyze business issues, develop corrective actions and follow through to completion.
• Strong Customer focus.
• Ability to prioritize multiple daily tasks.
• Focus on process improvement.
• Bilingual 90%.
• Extensive computer skills required.
