Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced MTO/QTO Engineer - Project Controls to join our team in the construction industry. As an MTO/QTO Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring accurate and timely reporting of quantities and costs, preparing estimates, and updating project schedules.

Key Responsibilities

  • Determine and track quantities, materials, and costs associated with projects.
  • Communicate any changes or discrepancies in project data to the project team.
  • Prepare and maintain project schedules by scheduling activities and assigning resources.
  • Ensure project deliverables are on schedule, within scope, and within budget.
  • Collaborate and communicate with various stakeholders, including project managers, engineers, and clients.
  • Work with accounting and procurement teams to ensure accurate tracking of project data.
  • Generate project reports, including job costing and quantity reconciliation.

Requirements

  • Technical or preferably Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or related fields.
  • 2+ years of experience in project controls, estimating, or related field.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of construction practices and techniques.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish, both written and verbal, preferred.
