Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Digital Circuit Designer to join our team at Micron Technology, Inc.

About the Role

In this exciting opportunity, you will be responsible for designing and analyzing digital circuits used in the development of memory products. Our team is engaged in developing groundbreaking silicon-to-systems solutions, from technology development and advanced memory designs to product development, systems design, and validation, resulting in world-class memory solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Designing and analyzing digital circuits used in memory product development
  • Overseeing the layout process, including floor planning, placement, and routing
  • Parasitic modeling and assisting in design validation, reticle experiments, and required tape-out revisions
  • Evaluating and identifying best-known practices and communicating them to DRAM teams
  • Performing verification processes using industry-standard simulators and analyzing results to confirm simulation to silicon correlation
Requirements

To qualify for this position, you should have:

  • A Bachelor's degree with 2+ years' experience or a Master's degree
  • Proven knowledge and experience of CMOS circuit design and device physics
  • Experience designing digital and analog circuits using CMOS logic gates and transistors
  • Ability to create floorplans that optimize circuit placement, signal routing, and power delivery
  • Proficiency in Spice and Verilog for circuit simulation and analysis
Preferred Qualifications
  • Good understanding of ASIC design flow, including RTL design, verification, logic synthesis, and timing analysis
  • Experience with ASIC timing constraints generation and timing closure using STA tools

  • Familiarity with schematic entry and simulation using Finesim or Hspice

Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
